Also known as the Wandering Fantasy Planner! As a fantasy event specialist, travel enthusiast, and book lover, I bring enchanting worlds to life through luxury events and magical journeys. I’m also a proud business owner and mentor, helping aspiring entrepreneurs follow their dreams while we explore the whimsical and extraordinary together.
About Me
The History
Oh the places I have been! Originally from Colorado, I went to school in Kansas with a scholarship to play NAIA volleyball. There, I studied and acquired my degree in Psychology Research and Health.
After graduating, I moved to Arizona and found myself in several different positions, just figuring out where I fit in the world. Data entry, consumer reporting, banking, sales, customer service, food industry… you name it, I have probably worked it. It wasn’t until I found myself in an insurance sales job that I stumbled face first into events.
On a recommendation and a whim, I auditioned to become a DJ and MC, and got the job! I started performing at weddings and corporate events across Arizona. During the 2020 shutdown, I began gaining experience with day-of coordination at intimate backyard weddings. I fell in love with wedding planning, and in 2021, I decided to launch Un Jour D’Amour Weddings and Events. To date, I have been a part of the planning, prep, and/or execution of over 250 weddings.
Through a twist of fate, my love of fantasy and event planning merged with the release of my first flagship fantasy event, the Phoenix Winter Fantasy Ball 2023. Since then, I’ve launched the Fantastique Collection, an entire collection of fantasy and bookish-themed events and projects happening across the United States. I use my fantasy events as a way to give back to communities, often donating a portion—or sometimes all—of the proceeds to various charities that are close to my heart.
Current Adventures
Along with my wedding planning at Un Jour D’Amour Events and running the incredible Fantastique Collection, I have also launched Sophistiqué (a clothing line collaboration of Fantasique Collection and Designer Daddy), The Wandering Fantasy Planner Podcast & Youtube, and have opened up mentorship programs for aspiring entrepreneurs! I love what I do and I am so very excited to share everything with you!
In my spare time, I’m an avid Dungeons and Dragons player, love reading as many fantasy books as I can, and enjoy writing fantasy stories with my fiancé, Brandon. I’ve also recently discovered a passion for cosplaying and now host and participate in cosplay meet ups! When I’m not working or nerding out, you can usually find me spending quality time with my two beautiful adopted dogs, Daisy and Kato.
